Broward city guide
Hollywood, Florida
A Broward beach city with the Broadwalk on the ocean and a lively downtown.
About the city
Living in Hollywood
Hollywood sits in southeast Broward County, just south of Fort Lauderdale. Its beach is the headline, and the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, a paved oceanfront promenade, draws walkers, runners, and cyclists, with cafes and small hotels along the way.
West of the Intracoastal, Downtown Hollywood centers on ArtsPark at Young Circle, with restaurants, bars, and regular concerts and art events. The city also has many parks and several golf courses.
Housing covers a wide range: beachside and Intracoastal condos, older single-family neighborhoods near downtown, and newer communities farther west. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and I-95 are close by, which keeps the rest of Broward within easy reach.
