The Town of Davie stands out in Broward County for keeping a rural character. In parts of town you will find larger lots, horse properties, and an extensive network of trails, alongside a western-themed downtown district that gives Davie a personality of its own.
Davie is also a college town. The South Florida Education Center is home to Nova Southeastern University and Broward College's central campus, among other schools, which brings steady activity and a wide mix of housing nearby.
Location helps too. Florida's Turnpike, I-595, and I-75 all run through or beside Davie, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades are a short drive east.
