Plantation sits in the middle of Broward County, with Fort Lauderdale to the east and Sunrise and Davie to the west. That central spot is a big part of the appeal: I-595, Florida's Turnpike, and Broward Boulevard put downtown Fort Lauderdale, the beach, and the western suburbs within a short drive. Plantation's main ZIP codes are 33313, 33317, 33322, 33323, 33324, and 33325, and several of them cross into nearby cities.
Much of the city is known for its trees. Mature canopy shades many residential streets, and parks and green space are spread through the neighborhoods instead of tucked away in one corner.
Plantation also has a working business side, with office parks and retail along its main corridors. For buyers, that adds up to a mix of established single-family neighborhoods, townhomes, and condos, a place that feels settled while staying close to everything else in Broward.
