Weston sits at the far western edge of Broward County, where the suburbs meet the Everglades. Weston's ZIP codes are 33326, 33327, 33331, and 33332, and 33331 also covers parts of Davie. The city was laid out as a planned community, and it shows in the landscaped medians, the lakes and canals that wind between neighborhoods, and the way homes, parks, and shopping were placed on purpose.
Housing ranges from townhomes and villas to larger single-family homes, much of it inside master-planned communities. Many Weston neighborhoods have a homeowners association, so reading the HOA documents, rules, and fees is part of most purchases here. If HOA membership is mandatory, Florida law says the buyer must be given the HOA disclosure summary before signing the contract. Condos follow a different law.
For getting around, I-75 and the Sawgrass Expressway run along the city, which makes trips across the rest of Broward straightforward. Offices, shopping centers, and medical facilities along Weston Road and nearby corridors cover most daily errands.

- Water and sewer: Weston buys its water from the City of Sunrise, and Sunrise opens and bills the accounts. Day-to-day service comes from Sunrise in Bonaventure and from Indian Trace Development District in the rest of Weston.
